In 2007, First Christian Church of Antelope Valley called a new minister, Janet Helme. We were fortunate to have regional minister Don Shelton in attendance at Janet's installation service and dinner. At the end of the service, during the Call to Invitation, a new member came forward, so Janet had the pleasure of accepting him into the congregation. After the service all sat down to a meal and fellowship.
